EFTEX provides terminal driving and payment processing services to more than 5,500 ATMs across Australia and the Philippines. We operate a Postillion payments processing platform and consistently deliver 99.999% host availability. Our Payments System infrastructure, systems and processes are fully PCI-DSS and PCI-PIN certified.

Transaction payment processing and acquiring

EFTEX is a member of eftpos Payments Australia, Union Pay International and holds an Exchange Settlement Account (ESA) with the Reserve Bank of Australia.

We are an approved third-party processing partner with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and BancNet

In addition, EFTEX has direct ATM switching and acquiring relationships with ANZ and Westpac in Australia.

Terminal driving and certification

We have certified and support a range of NCR, Diebold-Nixdorf, Nautilus Hyosung, Triton and CashPod terminals on our network.

With an experienced development team and support staff we can provide an efficient and flexible service for device certification with turnaround times and costs at a fraction of the industry norm.

DCC and foreign currency ATMs

EFTEX was the first in Australia to drive foreign currency dispensing ATMs. We now support ATMs operating in 3 countries across APAC with more than 15 currencies offered.

We are also able to fully support dynamic currency conversion (DCC) for Visa and Mastercard, allowing international cardholders the option of paying in their home currency.

As well as being convenient for customers, DCC also provides an additional revenue stream for ATM deployers in earning the bulk of the FX margin spread.

ATM deployer portal

EFTEX has developed a full function client self-service web portal that provides our ATM deployer customers with a comprehensive range of functions and access to terminal and transactional information to place our clients in the driver’s seat and allow greater autonomous network management than our competitors.
Benefits of the EFTEX portal include the ability to:

  • add, view, edit, and report on terminals
  • assign DES Keys and configure terminals
  • amend bank account details, surcharge fee profiles, and terminal names
  • view terminal componentry statuses
  • generate reports on transactions, and settlement values

Helpdesk, device and payment system monitoring and incident management

EFTEX operates its 24/7 helpdesk in Sydney, delivering both technical support, monitoring and alerting services.

Our team is trained in device diagnostics, communications and settlement procedures, resulting in maximum device up-time.

EFTEX provides complete incident management functionality for our clients’ ATM and other cash/ payment device networks and is equipped to receive, analyse and respond to complex status information from any terminal.
